Contra rotary mixers
- Contra Rotary mixer – Heavy duty is a main manufacturing vessel for paste making
- It efficiently combines liquid and solid particles to paste/gel under Vacuum
- Set of blades rotating opposite to each other gives turbulence for effective mixing
- Materials may be either charged open cover or by vacuum feed.
- Large quantities of material from phase vessel is sucked efficiently by vacuum
- Supported on 3 legs : 2 ” Size located at 120 deg equal angles
- Main Agitator motor : driven by suitable motor with both sets of blades
- Motor: Crompton/Kirloskar make – FLP and Gearbox – Radicon/Elecon/Shanthi
- Shaft is supported through a heavy duty bearing housing with mechanical seals
- Speed of the agitator: 11 to 40 External and 20 to 60 Internal provided with VFDs
- Bottom discharge valve is pneumatically operated and CIP optional extra
